- Data are presented for LA County residents with valid addresses, who have been vaccinated with at least one 2024-2025 dose. In addition, individuals whose addresses are not valid and who could not be mapped to a city or community are not included in the data download.
- When the button, "Received 1+ 2024-2025 dose" is selected, the count of persons vaccinated with at least one dose of 2024-2025 vaccine is displayed. When the button, āUp to dateā is selected, the count of persons vaccinated with all recommended COVID-19 vaccines according to CDC guidelines based on their age and previous vaccination record is displayed. Definitions for āup to dateā status can also be found by clicking here.
- Cities/communities with an indication of "Unreliable Data" include those with fewer than 5-person population size or fewer than 5 people vaccinated.
- Vaccination estimates of "ā„ 95%" indicate that population vaccination coverage metrics are capped at 95%.
- Note that it's not recommended to open CSV download files in the Microsoft Excel application because select values and column labels will not accurately render.
Data source for population estimates: County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department, Information Technology Service, Urban Research-GIS Section, Population Estimates of Los Angeles County Tract-City Splits by Age, Sex and Race-Ethnicity for July 1, 2022, Los Angeles, CA, March 2023. The estimate of population with age of less than 1 year (by month of age) was based on Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Office of Health Assessment and Epidemiology (OHAE), Linked Birth Files (provisional) for 2022. Population estimates for cities/communities of less than 500 people may be unreliable.
Time Series Vaccination Data In the Interactive Tracker above, download time series for all communities or select regions (use city menu or click on map).
These projections likely overestimate the rate of vaccination progress for each group.
When comparing age groups, note that vaccination rates typically slow a few weeks after the group becomes eligible. Consequently, younger groups (more recently eligible), are expected to have significantly lower vaccination
rates than shown.
- Data are presented for LA County residents for whom both age and race/ethnicity data are available from the California Immunization Registry (CAIR).
- Dashed lines are linear trends projected into the future, based on the vaccination rate from the last week of daily data. Daily data are presented for accurate inclusion of eligibility dates for each age group.
- Cumulative totals are given for the number of people vaccinated divided by the relevant population. For "Received 1+ 2024-2025 dose," this refers to people with at least one 2024-2025 dose. For āUp to date,ā this refers to people who have received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines according to CDC guidelines based on their age and previous vaccination record. Definitions for āup to dateā status can also be found by clicking here.
- Charts display the following: When the drop-down list value, "Received 1+ 2024-2025 dose" is selected, the count of persons vaccinated with at least one dose of 2024-2025 vaccine is displayed. When the drop-down list value, āUp to dateā is selected, the count of persons vaccinated with all recommended COVID-19 vaccines according to CDC guidelines based on their age and previous vaccination record is displayed. Definitions for āup to dateā status can also be found by clicking here.
- The percent of Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders, Multi-Race, and Other race/ethnicity populations that are vaccinated are not presented due to likely inaccurate population estimates. The aggregate number of people vaccinated in these groups is available here.
- Unlike the 'Vaccinations By Race/Ethnicity' table at the bottom of the page, unreliable ages (i.e. less than 6 months of age) are not included in this table since the exact age group of these individuals is uncertain.
- American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) values may be overestimated due to the inclusion of some Multi-race individuals. Population data are likely underestimated due to primarily consisting of those who identify as AIAN only.
- Vaccination estimates of "ā„ 95%" indicate that population vaccination coverage metrics are capped at 95%.

Population data are likely underestimated due to primarily consisting of those who identify as AIAN only. Percent of population vaccinated, therefore, may be an overestimate. Although numerator data for the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Multi-Race and Other categories are presented, percent of population vaccinated is not calculated due to likely inaccurate estimates.

Click on the map or use the dropdown menu to select a district. Charts will update to show the district and age group chosen. For specific age and vaccination metric selections, data are not available for any community shown in gray on the map or italicized in gray on the dropdown menu because the community has less than 5-person population size or fewer than 5 people vaccinated.
- Vaccination data are analyzed from the California Immunization Registry (CAIR) for LA County residents 5-18 years of age. Due to ongoing updates to vaccine recipient addresses, the vaccination estimates for school districts can fluctuate. In addition, the number of vaccinations reported in recent days may be incomplete.
- Vaccine recipients are mapped based on their reported home address, not based on the school district attended.
- Individuals whose addresses are not valid and who could not be mapped to a school district are not included in the map.
- The charts of 'New Daily Vaccinations' and 'Cumulative Vaccinations' include residents without valid addresses.

- Vaccination estimates of "ā„ 95%" indicate that population vaccination coverage metrics are capped at 95%.
- Santa Catalina Island's location on the map has been adjusted for web display. San Clemente Island is not displayed.
- Santa Catalina Island residents are assigned to Long Beach Unified School District.
- Only LA County Office of Education school districts are shown. Lowell Joint Elementary School District is presented for the portion contained within LA County. The population shown is for the residents in the LA County region of the district.
