The Tuberculosis Control Program is an administrative office responsible primarily for the surveillance and receipt of reports of tuberculosis suspects and cases in Los Angeles County (excluding Long Beach and Pasadena).
Clinical care for TB is provided at one of the eleven Los Angeles County District Public Health Centers or through private medical providers. Tuberculosis consultative and educational services are available through the medical and nursing specialists located in the program office.
