Sewage Cleaning Vehicles

Sewage effluent from Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems and chemical toilets are pumped into large holding tanks on Sewage Cleaning Vehicles.  In Los Angeles County, these vehicles are required to obtain an annual Public Health Permit.  The Land Use Program staff perform sanitation inspections of each vehicle for the initial permit and annually thereafter.
