The Community Prevention and Population Health Task
Force was created by the Los Angeles County Board of
Supervisors to report to the Board, the Health Agency and the Department of Public Health on health, equity and
community well-being to improve population health in the
County. The Task Force functions like a County
commission and serves as an advisory body to the Health
Agency’s Center for Health Equity and to DPH on the
Community Health Improvement Plan.
