This page brings together key guidance, handouts, and practical tools across CPSP service areas—including General CPSP resources, Health Education, Nutrition, Psychosocial support, and Breast/Chestfeeding—to help teams deliver patient-centered education, counseling, screening, referrals, and ongoing client support.

This section includes core CPSP program resources that support service implementation, compliance, and high-quality care delivery across the perinatal period.

  • CPSP Provider Handbook: The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPS) Provider Handbook is designed to help a CPSP provider with the information and tools needed to implement the program at their site.
  • Steps to Take Guidelines: The purpose of these guidelines is to provide CPSP staff members with the information they need to effectively assess situations, provide interventions, and refer appropriately.
