Los Angeles County 5-Year Injury Hospitalization & Mortality by Mechanism data tables will be updated annually. Click links below to view PDF files by mechanism of injury.

 

Notice about rates: The rates shown in these tables were calculated using population estimates based on the 2000 US Census for Los Angeles County. Revised population estimates that incorporate the 2010 US Census data for Los Angeles County are being computed. Once these new estimates are made available, IVPP will reissue these data tables with rates calculated using the new population estimates.

 

NOTE: Non-Fatal Injury Hospitalization data have a 2-year time delay, and Injury Death data have a 3-year time delay, due to data processing.
