Office of the Ombudsman / Quality Assurance
Under the direction of the Ombudsman, the Quality Assurance (QA) program acts to ensure that all programs within Environmental Health (EH) are adhering to current policies and procedures, thereby enhancing uniformity, quality, professionalism and integrity throughout EH.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SERVICES:
- Acts as Environmental Health’s independent fact finding investigation unit.
- Conducts investigations in response to complaints received from citizens and industry regarding the quality of inspections; competence and conduct of the inspector; and disputes related to inspection scores.
