Program Planning and Development
Program Planning and Development undertakes a major role in Division-wide policy development and legislative analysis. In addition it
plays a central role in coordinating assignments by consolidating responses from 27 Environmental Health programs into a single Division response. It also provides administrative support to all Environmental Health programs and maintains a central resource of information for Environmental Health.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SERVICES:
- Monitors and analyzes proposed legislation and
regulation that impact Environmental Health

Develops administrative policies and procedures to
implement changes in State and County codes

Supports all programs in policy development,
revision, and research needs

Maintains Environmental Health policy manuals
-
Develops and maintains various Environmental Health
decals and forms issued to operators, the public,
and employees
- Responds to various executive
assignments and special projects
- Coordinates
Environmental Health quarterly and annual reports
