Los Angeles County Resources
Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS) and the City of Los Angeles Department of Aging provide free, home-delivered meals to older adults age 60 and older who are impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Sign up if you need this service at 1-800-510-2020.

Critical Delivery Service
LA County launched a free delivery program for older adults and individuals with disabilities. This program, called Critical Delivery Service, will deliver groceries, household items, and other vital necessities to LA County residents who are unable to leave their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What To Know:
- Items may be delivered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no cost to the client
- No application process is required (items must be pre-paid & ready for pickup)
- Service may be used up to four times or 40 miles/month, whichever comes first

The Refillery L.A.
Mobile refill station for soaps, detergents, cleaning supplies, personal care products and pet care are sold by the ounce. Mobile van service provides free house calls for seniors who apply online and arrange a visit. Seniors can place empty reusable containers outside to be picked up, filled, and left at the door, or can have Refillery fill up a new reusable container for a cost.

Telemedicine
Postpone non-essential doctor visits, including elective procedures, annual checkups and other non-essential appointments. Older adults who are managing chronic health conditions can stay in touch with their doctors' office through telemedicine, which enables doctors and patients to communicate over video, email or phone. Call your doctors' offices to check for telemedicine options.
Medication Quantity Limit Exception

The LA WarmLine provides telephone support services to people living in Los Angeles County. Services include telephone support and live chat.
The warmline is designed to aid people who are having difficulty coping with the stresses and crises which arise in daily living or who are concerned about particular personal or interpersonal problems. Some of the issues talked about may include mental illness, substance abuse, loneliness, family relations, bereavement and suicidal feelings. The warmline clarifies the callers issues and offers support and guidance to assist callers to find their own resolution, but does not give advice. All calls are handled confidentially, and referrals are available for additional or ongoing services if needed.

In Home Support Services
Home Care Services for low income individuals who are disabled, blind or elderly. Services may include housecleaning, meal preparations, laundry, grocery shopping, personal care services, and accompaniment to medical appointments. In-Home Supportive Services, also known as IHSS, can help pay for services if you're a low-income elderly, blind or disabled individual, including children, so that you can remain safely in your own home. IHSS is considered an alternative to out-of-home care, such as nursing homes or board and care facilities.
