Waste Tires
Staff of the Solid Waste Management Program/Local
Enforcement Agency, using funding from the
California Department of Resources and Recycling have
identified and routinely inspect approximately 5,000
waste/used tire generators in the County. These
inspections ensure that waste tires are managed in
ways to protect the public health and the
environment and help ensure that they are properly disposed or processed for recycling or reuse.
